Looking for some fun things to do in Montreal after spending the night at Hotel Roberval, but you don't feel like straying too far from the Green Line on the metro? Here are some exciting, new things to do and see around the island of Montreal, all with easy and cheap access from the Green Line that Montreal's famous metro offers.

Biodome

One of the Most popular attractions in Montreal is the Biodome and all the amazing features it shares. Straight off the PIE IX stop, you can explore in amazement at the Biodeom, the Montreal Insectarium, the Montreal Botanical Garden, Cinema StarCité Montreal and the Planetarium Rio Tinto Alcan. All these great sights, all in the same place. This is something that is definitely worth seeing at least once.

The Montreal Museum Of Fine Arts

Step off the metro at the GUY-CONCORDIA stop and visit the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. With their exhibitions always changing, visiting here every time you're in town will never be considered time wasted. Hosting summer day camps for kids and family weekend activities and craft workshops, they ensure you enjoy your experience completely each time you go.

Place Des Arts

With five venues, seating almost five thousand people, Place Des Arts offers many different shows. By getting off the PLACE-DES-ARTS stop, you can plan a night out and go see your favorite symphonies, singers and comedians. With art exhibitions to plays and orchestras, you're sure to find something enjoyable for everyone each time you visit.

Atwater Parket

This beautiful building established in 1933, the Atwater Market is the perfect stop for not only history fanatics, but architectural fanatics as well. Accessible from both the LIONEL-GROUX and the CHARLEVOIX stops, you can shop around for fresh meat and products sold by farmers themselves, as well as handmade items made by specialized craftsmen.

Angrignon Park

A perfect last stop on the line is the ANGRIGNON terminus, leading you straight to Angrignon Park. A great way to end the day, especially after stopping at the Atwater Market, could be a picnic in a beautiful, scenic park. Inspired by the design of English gardens, it's the best place to eat your fresh meal by the water.

The easiest part about all these stops is you can always go back to where you came from, get back on the same line and head on home to your Roberval room to sleep off all the energy you used exploring Montreal's green line.
